Berkeley Public Library is gearing up for their summer reading program. Here are the details as they stand now. I’m sure specific dates for the events will be coming soon, so don’t forget to check back.
You guys, it looks like you could “earn” up to $50 in Pegasus gift certificates plus be in a drawing for an awesome raffle (prize as of yet unnamed). They have lots of links for book suggestions, but feel free to use this blog for ideas, too. If you’re completely stumped,

- Games at the branches
- Writing Workshop at Central
- Hour of Code all summer long
How it works
- Register online or in person at a library location.
- Read or listen to any books you choose.
- Read in any language!
- Submit your written review—online or at any Berkeley Public Library.
- Enter 1 book review and receive a free book and a $5 Pegasus Books coupon. Reviews count as entries into the Summer Reading Raffle. One review per manga series, please.
- Submit 10 or more reviews and be eligible for the grand prize drawing.
- The most interesting reviews will be posted on our website.
- Claim your prize in person by Saturday, 8/30/14.
