Flesh and Bone by Jonathan Maberry
Continuing the saga of Benny Imura and his friends in the Ruin, this title will take your breath away. The reader will pick up right at the end of the last title, Dust & Decay with the teenagers on their quest for the jet they saw flying overhead. The theory is that the jet is a harbinger of the existence of humanity outside of the Nine Towns and the Ruin. This time around, the zombies seem to be mutating–some can move quickly some appear to move in herds, and others actually seem to be running. Benny, Nix, Lilah and Chong also run into zombie wild boars and a death cult which is intent on “releasing” (Killing!) all the remaining humans to free them from their Earthly misery!
This book is a must -read for horror/zombie fans, readers who love Jonathan Maberry, and anyone looking for a fast-paced action story.
